Polia Pillin (1909-1992) Ceramic Lamp
Polia Pillin, a Polish painter and potter used images of women, birds and horses commonly in her works. She immigrated as a teen to the United States and lived in Chicago before moving with her husband to Los Angeles in 1948. Although we cannot find a signature on this piece, the work is distinctly her hand. The lamp may have been re-wired and a different base added at some point in its history. There is a chip at the top of the lamp that has been professionally repaired as well. Measures 4.75" x 4.75" x 12.5" tall to the top of the ceramic or 18" to the top of the light socket.
Shipping is FREE within the continental US. Ships from Keswick, VA. Check out @fairmarketvintage for all our fresh finds!
