Another comfortable lounge chair by design god, Hans J. Wegner. The Model J-16 was produced by FDB Møbler beginning in 1944 and was sold for many years. Currently still produced by Frederica for around $4,000. The frame of this chair is made of solid Beech wood, with a danish paper cord woven seat. The chair rocks flawlessly. FDB Makers mark under the armrest with a Made in Denmark stamp.
Condition: Minor finish scratches are present occasionally but do not detract from the beauty of the chair or effect its function. The cording on the chair is in tact and structural, however shows minor signs of age. Vintage furniture is never free from minor wear and this is no exception.
